Peat bogs and the Flow Country
The peat bogs of the Scottish Uplands are one of the unsung glories of the United Kingdon.
They are a fascinating environment that merit wide study and appreciation.
These activities lead through some simple classroom experiments on the properties of peat, looking at how these affect the properties of the peatlands as a whole and on to wider discussion acitvities about this, and other, environments.
